You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 73 students, with the potential to adjust as some may be dismissed from services. Your week will consist of five full days, each with seven working hours, allowing you to establish strong, ongoing connections with the students and staff you support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLPA license required
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Knowledge of speech, language, and fluency interventions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Eagerness to adapt and coordinate services across multiple schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech, language, and fluency services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support IEP development and contribute to progress monitoring
- Travel between assigned schools as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Foster positive and supportive relationships with students
