School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Sugar Land, TX

Exciting opportunities are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) interested in supporting students at campuses in the East Side Houston Metro area. This contract position requires providing services at both Furr High School and Edison Middle School, supporting students in a dynamic educational environment.
Applicants must be able to reliably commute between both campuses and confirm their commute capability before applying. Comfort with traveling to both locations is essential for consideration.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license (must have licensure in hand; supervision hours cannot be provided)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting as an SLPA
- On-site presence required—no remote work available
- Reliable transportation and proven ability to commute between Furr High School and Edison Middle School
- Availability to begin as soon as possible, with commitment through the end of the current school year (5/28/27)
- Willingness to complete and pay for HISD fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
- Ability to purchase a laptop (cost to be reimbursed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collaborate with other school professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
- Provide support across multiple campus locations
