Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license (must be in hand; client does not provide supervision hours)
- Prior school-based SLPA experience required
- Reliable transportation and confirmed ability to commute between both designated campuses in East Houston
- On-site presence required (no remote or hybrid options)
- Must complete HISD fingerprinting within the first three days of signing a contract (cost covered by candidate)
- Ability to purchase a laptop (reimbursement provided)
- Availability from ASAP through 5/28/27
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and support to students as outlined by supervising SLPs
- Travel between two campus locations as assigned
- Collaborate with educators, leadership, and family stakeholders to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and session notes
- Uphold school and district policies
