Requirements:
- Active, in-hand Texas SLPA license (screenshot required during application)
- Prior experience working in school settings as an SLP or SLPA
- On-site availability; teletherapy is not an option
- Reliable transportation for travel to three Houston campuses
- Readiness and ability to complete HISD fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing
- Willingness to purchase a laptop (eligible for reimbursement)
Duties:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language services to students at Furr High School, Edison Middle School, and Holland Middle School
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary education and therapy teams
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation aligned with school policies
- Flexibly commute between assigned campuses as scheduled
