Qualifications and Preferred Experience
- Current licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Bilingual abilities highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff
- Passion for helping students reach their full communicative potential
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Prepare materials and organize therapy activities
- Assist with screenings and evaluations as directed
- Participate in professional development and school-related meetings as appropriate
