Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Santa Rosa, CA

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Bilingual fluency is strongly desired, but not mandatory
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary educational team
- Commitment to supporting student growth and achievement
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite support to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Prepare and adapt materials for speech-language sessions
- Support generalization of communication strategies in classroom environments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to foster student success
