Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly preferred
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy activities
- Accurately document student progress and maintain compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Support classroom teachers and staff with strategies to foster student communication
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training as needed
