Qualifications/Experience
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Nebraska or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY applicants considered
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Work closely with educators and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Provide direct and consultative services, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Conduct screenings, participate in team meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development
