What you need to bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress/completed
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-based setting
- Develop tailored treatment plans to help students overcome communication challenges
- Document progress and prepare reports in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student success
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
