Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse pediatric caseload
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into student learning plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide consultative services and resources to staff and families as needed
