Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in San Jose, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a valid SLPA license or certification in California
- Prior experience working in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Solid understanding of speech-language pathology practices for school-aged children
- Ability to collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and educational staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible approach and willingness to adapt to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under SLP supervision
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and document progress
- Prepare materials to support student engagement and learning
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and caregivers for optimal intervention
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all pertinent regulations
