School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Salem, Virginia

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Virginia (required)
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Comfortable working in an itinerant school setting
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting and background checks
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language support services to preK–5th grade students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Travel between assigned schools with paid travel time
- Prepare and implement therapy activities and materials as directed
- Participate in scheduled team meetings and professional development
- Accurately document services and student progress in compliance with school and district requirements
