Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current SLPA license or certification required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of therapeutic practices within an educational environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, teachers, and families
- Ability to manage documentation in accordance with school policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Conduct timely and accurate speech evaluations to support eligibility decisions
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Maintain organized session notes, progress reports, and other documentation
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom and therapy environment
