What you'll need to bring:
- Valid Virginia SLPA license
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as an itinerant provider in a multi-campus elementary environment
- Comfortable participating in virtual interviews via Zoom or Teams
- Commitment to a full academic-year contract
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting implementation of individualized and group therapy plans under SLP supervision
- Assisting with therapy materials preparation and language-building activities
- Documenting student progress and session outcomes per guidance
- Participating in team meetings and administrative tasks as scheduled
- Traveling between assigned schools as needed (paid travel time)
- Fostering a positive, engaging environment promoting speech and language development
You'll benefit from a paid travel structure (compensated for travel time between locations), consistent administrative support, and the fulfillment of helping students reach their communication goals. All hours worked within your contracted timeframe, including team meetings and indirect service, will be compensated.
