Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Active and valid SLPA license or credentials for Indiana
- Previous school-based experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant preferred
- Ability to work with students across PreK through 12th grade
- Flexibility to adapt to building/assignment changes as needed in the district
- Adherence to all background checks and standard district compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy and interventions designed by supervising SLPs
- Support and track student progress according to individualized plans
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student care
- Maintain accurate records and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
- Create a welcoming and encouraging space for students developing communication skills
