Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Marysville, CA
Step into an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant educational setting. Beginning August 11th, 2026, and running through June 4th, 2027, this onsite, full-time contract role offers a rewarding environment and the chance to grow your professional skills in support of students’ communication development.
As an SLPA, you will collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists and educational teams to implement tailored therapy plans, track student progress, and facilitate student participation in engaging speech activities. Working 37.5 hours each week, with a daily 30-minute unpaid lunch, you’ll experience the fulfillment that comes from helping students thrive. Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification/licensure (or eligibility) in accordance with state requirements
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
- Solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic school environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out speech-language therapy activities under the guidance of a licensed SLP
- Assist with documenting student progress and session outcomes
- Prepare materials, set up activities, and foster a positive, supportive environment for students
- Work with individual or small groups to address targeted communication goals
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with students, staff, and families
