Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Prior experience supporting speech/language services in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Ability to take direction from supervising SLPs and work collaboratively with staff and families
- Flexibility and reliability to meet student needs throughout the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy to students with communication needs
- Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision
- Prepare therapy materials and assist in documenting student progress
- Engage with students one-on-one or in small groups onsite
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP documentation as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policies
Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule, working 37.5 hours per week (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch). Contribute to a positive school culture while advancing your SLPA career in an inspiring environment.
