Desired Qualifications:
- Holds an active Massachusetts SLPA license in good standing
- Experience supporting speech-language therapy in school settings, ideally at both elementary and middle school levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance a caseload across multiple campuses
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with students, teachers, and caregivers
- Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, proactive, and eager to work within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services in accordance with IEPs and treatment plans
- Work directly with students to facilitate speech, language, and communication goals
- Document session activities and student progress accurately and punctually
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote carryover of strategies throughout students' day
- Manage materials and scheduling for students at three assigned schools
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
This contract position offers a structured 34-hour workweek, running from your earliest possible start through June 18, 2027. Your work will directly impact the educational experience of students in a supportive, progressive district.
