What you'll need:
- Current, active Massachusetts SLPA license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, ideally serving elementary and/or middle school age groups
- Strong communication skills and an ability to engage diverse student populations
- Commitment to working the full school year calendar (start ASAP, ending June 18, 2027)
- Flexibility to travel between three schools within the district
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, implementing IEPs and therapy plans
- Assist with screenings, assessments, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teaching teams, special education staff, and families to help students meet communication goals
- Support classroom-based interventions and reinforce carryover of skills in educational settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping in compliance with all district and state requirements
