Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Laurel, MD

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program and current SLPA licensure.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school or pediatric setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different grade levels (K-8) and tailor interventions.
- Familiarity with implementing treatment plans under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech-language therapy to students in individual and small group sessions.
- Carry out therapy activities as planned and supervised by the lead SLP.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in IEP meetings as required and provide input regarding student performance.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication success.
- Help foster a welcoming and supportive classroom environment.
