Qualifications:
- Completed SLPA program and valid state licensure/certification
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a K-8 or similar setting
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and documentation requirements
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities
- Adaptable and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-8 students under SLP supervision
- Support in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain appropriate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other staff to integrate communication goals into classroom activities
- Prepare engaging therapy materials and activities tailored to student needs
- Participate in school meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development as needed
