- Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent
- Active SLPA license or eligibility to obtain in Tennessee
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP, teachers, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under SLP supervision
- Implement treatment plans and educational activities tailored to individual student needs
- Collect data and document student progress as directed by the supervising SLP
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student care planning
- Adapt therapy materials and methods to meet diverse cultural and developmental needs
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and administrative activities as required
