Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience working with children or within a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for helping students reach their communication and academic goals
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapy sessions designed by a licensed SLP to address students’ speech and language goals
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students across various grade levels
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records, as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students’ functional communication in the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute observations to support the educational team
