Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license (must have licensure in hand; screenshot required)
- Previous, hands-on experience in a school-based setting as an SLPA
- Ability and willingness to reliably commute to both Furr High School and Edison Middle School
- On-site availability; remote not offered
- Reliable transportation for daily commute between campuses
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support services under the direction of a certified SLP to students at both designated campuses
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure quality care and progress towards student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to campus and district procedures
- Complete required HISD fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
- Purchase and maintain your own laptop (reimbursement provided)
