Qualifications/Experience:
- Active Illinois SLPA certification/license required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish (bilingual strongly preferred)
- Ability to start in August and work through November (potential for contract extension)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support services to students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote students’ language development
- Document student progress and participate in meetings as needed
- Assist in the creation and implementation of therapy materials and individualized plans
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
