School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Crystal Lake, Illinois

Your ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish will be vital in connecting with students and families from various backgrounds. You’ll use your professional expertise to support speech-language development, collaborate with teachers and staff, and help create an engaging, inclusive educational experience.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification/license in Illinois (required)
- Experience working in a school setting as an SLPA preferred
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Professional, adaptable attitude and a passion for helping children succeed
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support students with a variety of communication needs in individual and group settings
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintaining documentation
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress plans
