Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and other educational staff
- Flexibility and adaptability with diverse student caseloads
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language support to students as prescribed by supervising SLPs
- Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation
- Support ongoing communication between staff, students, and families
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with assessments under supervision
- Attend required meetings, training sessions, and professional development as needed
This assignment runs from August 11th, 2026 through June 4th, 2027, following the academic calendar schedule. Further details regarding specific caseloads and responsibilities will be provided upon assignment.
