We are actively seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based position in Dixon, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for SLPAs looking to work in a pediatric educational setting providing direct therapy services to elementary students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-5 students
- Support student progress toward IEP goals and communication development
- Collaborate with supervising SLP and school staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
Position Details
- Caseload: K–5 students (elementary school setting)
- Schools Assigned: May be itinerant within the district
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Start Date: August 2026
- End Date: June 2027
Travel Information
- Travel between school sites may be required
- Travel time is paid
- Mileage reimbursement may be available (confirm during interview process)
Requirements
- Active California SLPA License (Required)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
