Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school team in Dixon, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based opportunity working with K–5 elementary students, providing direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students (K–5)
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by the supervising SLP
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student outcomes
- Ensure compliance with IEP goals and California education standards
Position Details
- Caseload: Elementary (K–5)
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Travel: Paid travel time between sites (mileage reimbursement may apply)
- Services: Direct therapy services only (no evaluations required)
Requirements
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License
- Experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
