Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous inpatient hospital or healthcare setting experience preferred
  • Ability to perform patient assessments, develop and implement comprehensive therapy plans
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Deliver evidence-based SLP services to patients recovering from illness or injury
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation of patient evaluations and progress
  • Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication and swallowing
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing clinical development

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
