Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Maryland
- Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Experience delivering therapy in a hospital or acute-care setting preferred
- Strong clinical communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress in accordance with hospital protocols
- Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy goals and home programs
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to ongoing quality care initiatives
