In this full-time school-based travel position for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 11–May 28), you'll work with K-12 students—placement is flexible to suit your preference—across one or two nearby campuses, less than a mile apart. You’ll collaborate with experienced educators, gain exposure to a range of workplace practices, and refine your leadership abilities while serving a diverse student population.
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Current SLPA licensure/certification as dictated by state guidelines
- Prior experience in educational or clinical settings with children/students is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary environment
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of literacy interventions and phonemic awareness
- Familiarity with progress monitoring and data collection systems
- Understanding of IEPs and MTSS frameworks
- Relationship-building aptitude, student- and staff-focused mindset
- Flexible, proactive, and passionate about student support

- Support SLPs in providing therapy to students
