In this full-time school-based travel position for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 11–May 28), you'll work with K-12 students—placement is flexible to suit your preference—across one or two nearby campuses, less than a mile apart. You’ll collaborate with experienced educators, gain exposure to a range of workplace practices, and refine your leadership abilities while serving a diverse student population.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Current SLPA licensure/certification as dictated by state guidelines
  • Prior experience in educational or clinical settings with children/students is preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of literacy interventions and phonemic awareness
  • Familiarity with progress monitoring and data collection systems
  • Understanding of IEPs and MTSS frameworks
  • Relationship-building aptitude, student- and staff-focused mindset
  • Flexible, proactive, and passionate about student support

Duties Include:

  • Support SLPs in providing therapy to students
  • Implement student-specific treatment plans and document progress
  • Assist with IEPs, parent communications, and data tracking
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to achieve student goals
