School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Monument, Colorado
Step into a rewarding role that makes a difference in the lives of students! We're seeking dynamic Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for an exciting contract opportunity beginning August 12, 2026, and running through May 28, 2027.
Three positions are available: two full-time (37.5 hours/week) and one part-time (3 days/week). The full-time SLPAs will provide critical speech and language support to elementary and middle school students, splitting their time between different grade levels. The part-time opening involves serving both middle and high school students. For all roles, you'll work at just one building, making it easier to build rapport and focus your efforts where they matter most.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, active SLPA license in Colorado
- Experience working in school-based settings is highly valued
- Comfort adapting communication strategies for various age groups
- Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and IEP support
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills for partnering with educators and parents
- Positive attitude and commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
- Deliver small group and individual interventions targeting student goals
- Collect data and track student progress
- Support teachers and staff with strategies to encourage communication growth
- Collaborate on IEPs and participate in team meetings
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that celebrates student achievements
