What You’ll Bring:
- Valid and active FL Department of Health SLPA license
- School-based SLPA experience preferred, but not required
- Adaptability to travel between multiple campuses as needed
- Understanding of or willingness to quickly learn school caseload management practices
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 student populations
- Up-to-date fingerprint clearance or ability to process new fingerprints through AHCA Clearinghouse
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with both students and staff
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite (remote/VOCO not available)
- Work under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist to implement individualized treatment plans
- Serve a caseload of 50-55 students across up to 3 school sites to support your full-time hours
- Maintain detailed session notes and contribute to progress tracking
- Support students in achieving their communication and academic goals
- Participate in school team meetings and professional development opportunities
