Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Florida SLPA license required
- Experience in school-based or healthcare SLPA settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with middle school-aged students
- Familiarity with diverse speech and language therapies
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support students in achieving their IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Assist in screening, assessment, and data collection activities
- Participate in professional development and use mentorship resources as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and procedures
