Qualifications and Experience:
- Current FL SLPA License required
- Experience providing speech and language services within school or healthcare settings preferred
- Confidence working with middle school students, particularly those with mild-to-moderate speech impairments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and clinical teams
- Organizational skills for managing documentation and progress reports
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ specific needs
- Provide support in both individual and small group settings
- Keep accurate records of student progress and maintain compliance with documentation requirements
- Engage with teachers and families to promote generalization of new skills
- Attend team meetings and contribute insights to support integrated student progress
