What You’ll Bring:
- Active Florida DOH SLPA license
- Previous experience in a school-based SLPA setting preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 K-12 students
- Flexibility to travel to and effectively manage assignments across multiple schools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A commitment to fostering students’ speech and language development
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting for credentialing, including any necessary validation or transfer of previous prints and obtaining a JLA badge
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized educational goals
- Help prepare and implement therapy activities tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed (travel generally limited to local area)
