Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Washington State SLP license or ability to obtain before start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY considered
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with communication needs
- Provide therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, tailored to student IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success across settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and compliance paperwork
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering recommendations and expertise for each student’s plan
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current in best practices
