Qualified candidates will bring:
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before starting)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF applicants considered
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for teamwork with students, families, and staff
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments of student speech and language abilities
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals
- Delivering direct and indirect therapy services as outlined in IEPs
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with district and state requirements
- Consulting and collaborating with educators, support staff, and families
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input to educational teams for student success
