Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- ASHA Certification preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
- Capable of delivering engaging, evidence-based interventions for preschool-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for preschool students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for speech and language goals
- Offer resources and support to the educational team, ensuring best practices in service delivery
