Step into a dynamic role supporting young learners as a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), working with children ages 3-5 in both individual and small group settings. This rewarding contract role runs ASAP through early November, with a 190-day commitment, offering hands-on experience in early intervention and language development. The need for collaborative, bilingual professionals is especially valued, enhancing services for diverse student communities.

Your qualifications include:

  • Active SLPA licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, ideally with preschool-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
  • Ability to deliver speech/language services under SLP supervision
  • Comfort adapting materials and approaches to match developmental levels
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills highly preferred

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language support to children aged 3-5
  • Deliver interventions as outlined in student IEPs, under SLP supervision
  • Document progress and maintain careful records in compliance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and the SLT to maximize student growth
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to help develop tailored interventions
  • Foster an encouraging, supportive learning environment that values every child’s strengths
