As a valued SLP in this role, you’ll be working weekdays for 35-37.5 hours per week, with responsibilities that enable you to address a wide variety of speech-language needs across elementary, middle, and high school populations.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active and valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Connecticut SLP licensure in good standing (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong collaboration skills for working across multiple schools
- Commitment to providing in-person services throughout the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Deliver direct therapy services and consult with staff and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Help foster a positive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds
