School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Winsted, Connecticut
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services across multiple school sites in the Winsted area. This full-time, on-site contract offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic K-12 caseload from now through June 2027. Two dedicated professionals are needed to support students’ communication development and academic achievement in an engaging school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) certification
- Experience working within school settings (K-12 preferred)
- Ability to collaborate across multiple campuses
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing in-person services
- Must hold or be eligible for relevant state licensure
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student needs and generalize skills
- Manage a diverse caseload effectively across multiple schools
- Engage in ongoing professional development as required
