Step into a rewarding role providing speech-language pathology services for the upcoming school year through June 2027. Serve students across K-12 in a dynamic, collaborative environment working with multiple schools in the West Hartford, CT area. This full-time, contract opportunity is available immediately and offers a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule, delivering 35-37.5 hours weekly. What You’ll Bring:
- Current SLP licensure and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy environments
- Familiarity with providing services to diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivation to work on-site as in-person presence is required
What You’ll Tackle:
- Deliver direct therapy services and evaluations for students with varying needs
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans and documentation
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student progress
- Attend necessary meetings, respond to consultation requests, and provide recommendations for classroom strategies
- Supervise, consult, or provide support to SLPA(s) or other relevant staff as assigned
