Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bristol, CT

You’ll work full time, Monday through Friday (35-37.5 hours per week), joining another SLP to serve multiple schools within a close-knit district for the full 2026-2027 academic year. This assignment allows you to develop relationships with students and staff for impactful, continuous service. The district is seeking skilled professionals who can begin as soon as possible and continue through June 2027. In-person availability is required for this rewarding contract opportunity.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credential
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Connecticut
- Experience in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work onsite and travel between schools as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across K-12
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
