Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Active (or eligibility for) state licensure
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings welcomed
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs
- Comfortable with both individual and group therapy formats
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure inclusive support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team planning
- Advocate effectively for students’ communication needs within the school community
