Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for communication disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload of students
- Assess, diagnose, and write individualized treatment plans to address a range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to create supportive classroom and home environments
- Document student progress, maintain compliance with IEP requirements, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Offer both individual and group therapy sessions based on student needs
- Serve as a resource on communication disorders to educational teams and families
