Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a valid and current VA SLP License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
- Experience working within a school setting is highly desired.
- Confident in providing comprehensive speech/language services for a diverse student population.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for speech and language services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Provide direct therapy and clearly document student progress.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all local, state, and federal requirements.
