Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Prior experience providing speech and language services in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and small group, within school settings
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to provide guidance on supporting student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and actively contribute to discussions and goal-setting
- Stay current with best practices and new developments in speech-language pathology
