Speech and Language Pathologist in Henrico, VA

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active, current state licensure or ability to obtain one promptly
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship status
- Experience within a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and advocating for diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy services to meet IEP goals, working one-on-one or in small group settings
- Partner with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support communication development
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility reviews, and team conferences as needed
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate through proactive support and consultation
