- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Prior experience in a school setting is a strong plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students’ speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document and report student performance, maintaining all required records
- Advise staff and families on strategies to support students’ communication needs in the classroom and beyond
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
