Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Assignment Dates: August 24, 2026 – June 9, 2027
Schedule: 35hrs/per week - Onsite

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for a school-based assignment in Williamsburg, Virginia. The selected therapist will support students by conducting assessments and evaluations, providing direct therapy services, and participating as a key member of the special education team throughout the school year.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language screenings, assessments, and comprehensive evaluations.
- Interpret assessment results and develop appropriate recommendations.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals.
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely documentation and therapy notes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
- Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations.
- Caseload: To be discussed during the interview process
Qualifications
- Required Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Eligibility to work in a school setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred
- Prior school-based experience.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and communication disorders.
