Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Williams, CA
Become an integral resource to students as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting children from birth through 12th grade. Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- Experience working in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings
- Knowledge of therapy best practices for children from birth through adolescence
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Excellent collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptability to meet the needs of diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from birth to 12th grade
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in compliance with educational standards
- Collaborate with special educators, classroom teachers, and families to support each student’s goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and prepare progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Foster a positive, supportive learning environment tailored to varied age groups and communication needs
