As a Speech Language Pathologist, you'll make a positive impact on students from birth through 12th grade, providing crucial support and guidance throughout their educational journey. Your day will be structured around a full-time schedule of approximately 8 hours per day, totaling around 37.5 hours each week. Your expertise and enthusiasm will help students overcome challenges, ensuring they thrive in both academic and social environments.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid state SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings is highly valuable
  • Strong interpersonal skills with students, families, and educational staff
  • Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, intervention, and therapy for students ranging from infants through high school
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Educate families and staff on strategies for language and communication development in and out of the classroom
